Terms of use

Advisory only. The consulate may still reject a photo that passes this check. We approximate the published rules — the issuing authority makes the final call.
Service description
PhotoCheck (the "Service") analyses a user-uploaded photo using a vision model and returns a structured report measuring the photo against the published photo requirements of the destination country. The Service is an advisory tool only.
No guarantee, no warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that a photo we mark as "likely compliant" will be accepted, or that one we mark "likely non-compliant" will be rejected. Government rules change without notice. Our analysis may contain errors.
Your responsibilities
- You agree to verify our findings against the official source linked on every country page before submission.
- You will not upload photos of other people without their consent.
- You will not use the Service to facilitate fraudulent applications, identity misrepresentation, or any unlawful activity.
Refunds
Prep outputs are non-refundable once delivered, because the compute cost is incurred immediately. If the Service fails to deliver due to a technical error on our side, we will refund your purchase or re-run the analysis at your option. Contact support@getphotocheck.com.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to visa rejection, travel disruption, or application fees lost as a result of a rejected photo.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
